Shepard’s Pie


  • 2 lb. organic grass fed ground beef
  • 1 small can organic beef broth
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 package frozen mixed vegetables
  • Mashed Faux-Tatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder or any herbs you like

Directions: 

  1. Brown beef with onion and celery. Add mushrooms, and cook for five minutes. Add the other veggies. Cook for a few minutes, and add a little beef broth (not the whole can). Thicken with some arrowroot or cornstartch.
  2. Put in a 9x13 baking dish and top with mashed faux-tatoes (click here for recipe).
  3. Bake for thirty minutes and 350 degrees, and dig in!
